Before working with Juliette I was ‘the girl’ who trained 5-6 times a week, thought I ate relatively well but just wasn’t seeing any results or changes in my body composition. When, I was in fact over-training and under-eating.
I always call myself the problem child as I began my journey with Jules, recovering from a back injury, I never thought I would be able to lift again. With the correct form, cues, adjustments to suit my body and slow but progressive overload, YA GIRL IS SQUATTING AND DEAD LIFTING AGAIN!!
My relationship with food has improved out of sight and I no longer have anxiety and guilt around eating. Juliette has given me incredible knowledge around macros. I am now at the point I feel comfortable eating intuitively, without fear of weighing every gram of food I put in my mouth.
Beyond training and nutrition, Juliette’s knowledge around optimal heath, hormones and digestion have seen me come of TWO medical prescriptions, regulate my cycle and sleep plus tackle my bloated/SIBO tummy.

Her sustainable and holistic approach is very much inline with my way of living and there is no one else that I would trust my body with. She really takes the time to educate her clients to equip them with the tools to continue to succeed.
I have worked with Juliette on and off for over 5 years. Each time I’ve learnt and achieved so much. I learnt how to train at the gym with correct form, better muscle engagement (be aware… your glutes will forever burn) and to push myself much harder than what I thought was my limit. I’ve learnt the concept of ‘optimal health’ and that it’s not just about ‘what you look like’.
From correcting eating habits, recommending functional lab testing, working on my relationship with food and body image, to working on my year-long struggles with IBS, anxiety, lifestyle management and correcting the supplements I take.
I owe all my progress to Juliette’s passion and knowledge. She is compassionate and understanding the whole way through the journey and has impacted my lifestyle so positively.
I no longer suffer from IBS, my anxiety is manageable without medication, I feel physically stronger and enjoy going to the gym again without it feeling like a task and understand so much about the food I now put in my body.

You have given me power – by giving me knowledge & guidance. The power to see what I can be, and who I can be. What I am capable of & what I want out of life. My previous weight loss attempts were about body image only. When you initially asked all the intro questions, you opened up my mind to WHY I was struggling with my weight. I was unhappy internally & felt that by losing weight I would be happier. But your plan/service/support allowed me to see that I was strong enough to make internal (life altering) changes to better my WHOLE self. And that I NEEDED to make those changes to succeed.

When I began training all I had in my head was, I need to lose weight, but over the last 18 months, that mindset and goal has changed. Juliette has been able to show me losing weight shouldn’t just be the end goal but instead focus on feeling strong and happy in both my workouts and in life. Keeping this new goal in mind, I’m feeling so strong and fit and IN LOVE with my body.
To begin with I felt intimidated working out at the gym by myself, however, now I feel energised and excited to get to the gym and to complete my workouts. The gym has gone from being a chore, to an outlet where I can let the day’s stresses out and free my mind.
Another aspect that Juliette has really been able to change my view in is food. I think there are a lot of people out there with unhealthy relationships towards food and although, I wouldn’t have said I had a bad relationship with food it became evident, I wasn’t fuelling my body with the right types of food and quantities. This became so clear to me once Juliette increased my calorie intake and changed my meals to clean wholesome food. I instantly found my body responding, loosing body fat and using the food I was eating and not just storing it.
Overall I can’t believe the difference in my health and body that Juliette has helped me create, and I look forward to pushing myself further and continuing to smash new 1RMs. Thanks for all your support and assistance Jules, I’m looking forward to continuing my training with you and can’t wait to see my results in another 12-18 months!Ellie, 25
Twelve months ago, I started my training journey with Jules as I had a health scare – I had diabetes at only 26 years old. I was very nervous and embarrassed about how much I weighed but Jules did not seem phased by it. When we discussed my main goals, she let me know they were realistic and achievable if I stuck to our plan.
Training has always been a great experience with Jules and I always look forward to our sessions. Jules makes sessions fun, even when you’re hating her for the pain she can still make you laugh.
The last 12 months has been very challenging in my personal life, but Jules was always there to listen, helping me through everything and making sure I stuck to the goals I set myself.

I trained with Juliette for most of 2017 and 2018 until I moved to the Gold Coast. I believe she is one of the most experienced and committed trainers around. We started together with a weekly 1:1 session. I really enjoyed the challenge she put into my sessions so much so, I started up another session with her and found that two 1:1 sessions per week was ideal.
Juliette was extremely focused on helping me to achieve my goals and always made every session challenging. I was always learning something new. My fitness increased noticeably and I saw improvements in my own ability to lift progressively heavier weights and generally push myself harder, throughout each session. I actually looked forward to my workouts. Most importantly, Juliette ensured that my technique was always correct to avoid any injuries.
Juliette is extremely reliable and punctual – always ready to start training with my program already planned. I would recommend Jewel Athletic to anyone looking to improve their fitness with a dedicated trainer.
